What people want to know before funding an account, answered plainly and without the sales pitch.

First steps

What does opening an account require?

An email address to sign up, and ID documents for verification. You need to be verified to deposit and withdraw, so it makes sense to finish it before funding the account, not afterwards.

Can I explore before I put money in?

Yes. Signing up and funding are two different steps. On an unfunded account you can open the terminal, use the chart, look up symbols and browse the plans.

Put simply, what is a spot trade?

You pay for the asset and it becomes yours. Your wallet gains what you bought and loses what you spent. No leverage is involved, so there's nothing to liquidate.

How is crypto different from stocks?

Crypto trades without pause, weekends included, and settles on its own network instead of following an exchange calendar. That's why it sits next to the traditional markets in one account instead of taking their place.

Leverage and risk

How does x200 leverage work in practice?

A position can be as much as two hundred times the margin supporting it. At x200, a one percent move the wrong way costs double the margin you put up, so your stop counts for more than your entry.

What does the margin ratio gauge show?

The share of your margin pool that is holding up open positions right now. The higher it goes, the less room those positions have before an adverse move bites. It updates live beside the ticket.

How is margin shared across positions?

A single margin pool supports all open positions, instead of each one having its own. Gains on one position can carry a losing one, and a loss on any of them comes out of that shared pool.

Can my exit be set before entering?

Yes, and that's the order we'd suggest. On the same ticket as the entry, take profit and stop loss can be a fixed price or a percentage distance.

Deposits and withdrawals

How quickly does a deposit arrive?

Crypto deposits land once the network confirms them. Other methods depend on the payment route. The wallet marks funds as available the moment they can be traded.

Can the account run in my local currency?

You can price the account in AUD, CAD, EUR, GBP, NZD, USD or JPY, and the display currency switch converts every figure on screen.

How do balance and equity differ?

Balance is the settled amount. Equity adds the profit or loss on all open positions. With nothing open, the two figures match.

Can I switch assets without a withdrawal?

Yes. A swap turns one asset in your wallet into another, with no trip out to the bank and back.

Account and security

What keeps my account safe?

Two factor authentication for sign-in and withdrawals, alerts on sensitive actions, and withdrawals limited to destinations you've confirmed beforehand.

What do the levels on my account mean?

Levels reflect how active the account is and give access to features like Expert mode. They have no effect on the price of a trade that's already open.

How do I reach a real person?

Through the in-platform support chat, any hour. Common questions are covered in the help centre first, so chats tend to be about your own account rather than how a feature works.

What's the process for closing the account?

Withdraw your funds, let any open plans finish their term, then ask support to close the account. We keep the records the law requires us to and delete everything else.

Any questions left?

Day or night, write to support by email or through the platform.
